At Knowle CE Primary Academy we aim to meet the very high standards and expectations of our community but never lose sight of our belief that learning should be immensely enjoyable. As a school, we aim to deliver excellence in education and want the very best outcomes for our pupils so that they can achieve their fullest potential. More specifically, as a Church school, our vision is deeply Christian and rooted in the teachings of Jesus who promised us ‘life in all its fullness’. It is our belief that an outstanding curriculum for our pupils must promote ‘life in all its fullness’. We have adopted St. Paul’s analogy of ‘The Fruit of the Spirit’ which are our core Christian Values and underpin the ethos of the academy.

As an academy, our curriculum is informed, but not restricted, by the National Curriculum.

Our provision is inclusive, creative and challenging and incorporates a diverse range of other activities that are well matched to learners’ interests, needs and capabilities. These include an extensive programme of off-site educational experiences and exposure to a range of interesting people, experts and specialists. Our highly personalised curriculum ensures that pupils leave the academy emotionally secure, eager to learn, socially adept, academically successful and with an age appropriate understanding of how to lead a healthy life.

We firmly believe that the learning journey undertaken is just as important as the destination and we have a long tradition of making life-long memories for our pupils and their families.
